UPDATE: Energy Emergency Alert moves to Level 2

LINCOLN, Neb. (KCAU) – UPDATE: The Southwest Power Pool has moved the Energy Emergency Alert Level 3 to a Level 2. Customers are still asked to conserve energy.


PREVIOUS: Nebraska consumers might see power outages lasting 45 minutes or more on Wednesday.

The Southwest Power Pool (SPP) has moved into an Energy Emergency Alert Level 3 at 9 a.m. on Wednesday.

Officials with Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) said Nebraska residents might experience power interruptions due to cold weather.
