Our 5th annual Stuff the Stroller drive is wrapping up, and we couldn’t be happier about how the community has embraced this effort.

On Tuesday, shoppers donated about three and a half carts-full of diapers, wipes and other baby items at HyVee Mainstreet.

Everything we collect will go to the Crittenton Center to help families who need support as they raise their children.

Our partners, Siouxland OBGYN, also made another big donation to the effort.

Dr. Tauhni Hunt from Siouxland OBGYN says, “It’s a natural fit for us just to be able to provide for those who can’t necessarily have those necessities, so diapers, wipes, formula are basics that everybody should have available.”

Marian Burnett, Crittenton Center Executive Director says, “I’m just overwhelmed by the support that not only KCAU has given and Siouxland OBGYN, but the community. They’ve really come forth and helped these families. You know, a lot of these families don’t have the resources to get diapers and wipes and those kind of things, because they’re worried about the rent or they’re worried about food on the table. So, this is just amazing… amazing.”

If you’d still like to donate, you can do that through Friday, May 11th.
