SERGEANT BLUFF, Iowa (KCAU) – The Sergeant Bluff-Luton school district will hold a vote asking for an updated revenue purpose statement, Tuesday.
A revenue purpose statement outlines how the district utilizes Secure an Advanced Vision for Education (SAVE) funds from the state of Iowa. Districts use SAVE funds to support school infrastructure and technology needs.
If the vote passes it will not increase taxes, but will allow the school to access those funds through the year 2050.
