Poll places Hubbell ahead of Reynolds for Iowa Governor

The race for governor in Iowa is heating up.

According to a new poll released by Emerson College, Democrat Fred Hubbell is leading incumbent Governor Kim Reynolds by five points. 

Hubbell sits at 36 percent while Reynolds is listed at 31. 

Seven percent of those polled said they were voting for someone else, while 26 percent say are still undecided.

Hubbell will take on Reynolds and the Libertarian candidate Jake Porter in the general election come November.
