World Health Organization recommends limited screen time for infants

The World Health Organization is telling parents to get their kids away from screens and let babies play.

The United Nations agency released new guidelines for infants and toddlers this week.

It recommends parents limit screen time for children between the ages of two and four-year-old to no more than one hour.

They say one-year-olds and babies younger than one should not be allowed to watch TV or mobile devices at all.

The World Health Organization instead encourages children to not just avoid screens but for them to actively engage in play time and learning.
