Do you know the saying, money doesn’t grow on trees?

Well two Vermont men are proving that saying wrong with their new business.

The duo are selling leaves online.

I’ll write it again so you can properly digest their business: they are selling leaves!!!

Frank Davis and Uwe Heiss came up with the greatest company this side of the “Pet Rock” while photographing some trees (they are avid leaf peepers). While talking, they came to the conclusion that people are missing out by not seeing the beautiful trees in person. So they decided to send parts of the trees around the country.

The two started the Vt. Leaf Company to monetize their love, and share it with the world.

So how does it work?

The leaves are put in a zip lock bag and vacuumed sealed. If you leave them in the bag, the color will last for days or you can open it, so says the company.

If you’re interested in buying some leaves (and why wouldn’t you!!!) 12 leaves will set you back $20. If 12 leaves aren’t enough, how does 50 sound?! $40 is all it will take! Thankfully, the shipping is free.

Here is a link to their website.

On ABC9 News This Morning, Allison Warren and Scott Larson chatted about this unique business.
