How many times do we check our Facebook or Twitter page a day?
While they are fantastic tools to keep up with your friends, share what’s going on in your life, and learn about what is going on in the world, it can have an effect in our most intimate relationships.
Sharing these relationships on social media can lead to stalking, distrust and even jealousy among partners.
A new study found that people who have been together for three years or less that “high levels of Facebook use predicted negative relationship outcomes.”
But another study shows the complete opposite. This one found partners who share more of their relationship online, are a sign of a happy and healthy relationship, and could signify the pair are in it for the long haul.
