Study: sarcasm linked to creativity

This Morning

Are you, or someone you know, fluent in sarcasm?

Well calling them a wise guy, might actually be correct!

According to Professor Adam Galinsky, of Columbia Business School, by expressing sarcasm or receiving sarcasm, they actually become more creative.

The study found those with a more sarcastic behavior, performed better on creative tasks.

But before you start making a mockery of your friends and coworkers, you should only be acting that way with people you trust. Making a mockery of someone that you are not familiar with, can lead to hurt feelings if that person takes you seriously.

On ABC9 News This Morning, Jessica Rae and Scott Larson sarcastically chatted about this unique study.
