October is the spookiest time of the year. For the Halloween season, you’re prone to see ghosts, Frankenstein’s monster, jack-o-lanterns, zombies, and all sorts of ghoulish creations.
But a home in a small town in Ohio may have taken their love of Halloween too far.
The house is covered in an assortment of Halloween decorations, from bloody and stabbed carcasses, bodies hanging from trees, and severed limbs are just some of the items on display.
Parents in the area are angered by the display because it is scaring their children, saying it is too life like are real for their kids.
To make matters worse, the display is less than a block from a local elementary school.
One parent took a picture and asked the city to have the display taken down, but officials say they can’t because it represents freedom of expression.
The home owners say they mean no ill will, and have no intention of scaring children.
On ABC9 News This Morning, Jessica Rae and Scott Larson discussed this controversial Halloween display.
