The governor in his Monday morning news conference talked about the medical marijuana bill headed to his desk.
It passed through in the final days of the Statehouse session last week, and at this point, the Governor’s not sure how he’ll fall on the issue. But he explained to reporters he is pleased it’s narrowly written, to only include cannabis oil and require a neurologist to prescribe it.
His opponent, though, has bigger plans for the issue.“We’re talking about expanding it to Cerebral Palsy and Alzheimer’s and other chronic pain driven diseases that really have some benefit,” said Jack Hatch.
Hatch is the only Democrat vying for the governorship in the November General Election.
