CUSTER, S.D. (KELO) — Authorities want to remind drivers to use caution while driving at this time of the year when wildlife are on the move.

Crews in Custer responded to a car crash along Highway 385 on Friday night where a 2003 Ford Mustang struck elk crossing the road. Three elk were killed as a result of the crash.

Authorities describe the crash as having minor injuries.
