RENNER, S.D. (KELO) - Deputies are now treating the body found near Renner, South Dakota as a homicide.
The Minnehaha County Sheriff's Office says it was called to Ditch Rd. around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday after someone found the man's body.
Authorities have not said yet how the man died, but say foul play is suspected.
The sheriff's office is working with the Sioux Falls Police Department to track down multiple leads, but so far a suspect has not been named.
"This is one of those cases we call a 'who dunnit', I guess. So, information we have to keep to ourselves at this point not to compromise the case," Captain Jason Gearman with the Minnehaha County Sheriff's Office said.
Gearman says the people involved likely knew each other and that there is no risk to the public.
Authorities expect to release more details later Wednesday afternoon.
