Nebraska DOT receives grant to replace seven bridges near Norfolk

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — Seven bridges in rural Northeast Nebraska will soon be getting replaced thanks to a multi-million-dollar grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation.

The Nebraska DOT is receiving 8.5 million dollars as part of the competitive highway bridge program.

All the bridges that will be getting replaced are on state highways near Norfolk.

Construction is expected to start in 2021.
