Wreath-making activity to be found at Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center

Local News

An event this week allows families to drop in and make ornamental Christmas wreaths.

Sioux City Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center is holding a wreath-making activity for the rest of the week. Admission and supplies will be free.

As part of the hands-on fun, participants will learn about the history of evergreens in Christmas decorating.

Kids also will learn how the Lewis & Clark Expedition celebrated Christmas.

Sara Olson of the Sioux City Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center was in the KCAU 9 News Studio to tell us more about the event.

The event runs daily until Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
