WINNEBAGO, Nebraska - The Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska is holding its 152nd Annual Homecoming Celebration at Veterans Memorial Park.
Featuring traditional songs, foods, and dances, the Winnebago Pow-Wow, the nation's oldest continuous pow-wow, was first held following the death of the tribe's war chief, Little Priest.
The tribe honors the heroism of veterans through song and dance. The performances provide both emotional and physical healing.
The event is open to everyone. The pow-wow activities will continue throughout the weekend and admission is just five dollars.
