Gymnastics is taking a leap in the area and into a well-known local building.

V.I.P Gymnastics, Ninja, and Cheer is a new gymnastics club in North Sioux City in the old Gateway building.

They held a ribbon cutting Monday, but more 300 kids have already enrolled in classes.

One of the owners says it’s been a life long dream to open a facility like this.

Alisha Dykstra, V.I.P. Co-owner says, “This has been a dream of mine since I was about 14 years old, I was involved in the sport growing up, it was something that my family did growing up, my sisters were in gymnastics, my mom was coaching so for me this whole process has just been about bringing families together and getting them to come here and enjoy time together.”

The facility has two competitive spring floors and many other amenities.
