UPDATE: Power restored in South Sioux City

UPDATE: The NPPD said power was restored in South Sioux City. 

Power was restored just west of Dakota City as well. 


PREVIOUS: Some South Sioux City residents are without power. 

According to the Nebraska Public Power District’s outage map, 2,730 customers are without power. 

They say that the outage started around 4:01 p.m. on Thursday. 

Crews are currently working on making repairs with an estimated restoration time set for 7:05 p.m. Thursday night. 

The outage map shows that just west of Dakota City there is an additional 120 customers without power. 

Crews are working to make repairs there and should have power restored around 6:20 p.m.
