UPDATE: Crews continue to battle forest fire near Winnebago

Fire crews battling tirelessly Tuesday to put out a forest fire near Winnebago, Nebraska. 

KCAU 9 has learned the blaze actually sparked Monday as a small fire, but has developed into a much larger concern.
 
Responding fire crews are Winnebago and Homer and Sloan.
 
The fire is on the Nebraska side of the Missouri River but there are reports of hot embers being blown across the river to the Iowa side.
 
So far there are no reports of structure damages or injuries.
