LANCASTER COUNTY, Neb. - A two-year-old boy that was in critical condition after he was thrown from a pumpkin patch bounce pad has died.
Lancaster County officials in Nebraska confirmed the boy was taken off a respirator early Friday morning and pronounced dead.
The boy, his sister, and mother were visiting JK's pumpkin patch in Lancaster County on Wednesday.
The three were on the bounce pad when a wind gust of nearly 60 miles per hour sent them and the bounce pad airborne.
The girl broke her arm, but the boy tumbled 40 yards into a nearby soybean field and became trapped under the pad.
