Flooding has caused a community in northeast Nebraska to close.
Roadways are being flooded including all roads around the community of Pierce. It is closed to everyone going into and out of the community.
They say that the North Fork Elkhorn River is continuing to rise. Anyone in low lying areas along the Elkhorn River is asked to take protective actions.
Officials say that flood operations are continuing in many communities including Norfolk.
Residents are asked to limit water usage as the sewer system takes on extreme amounts of water.
