Three injured after weekend collision near Stanton, NE

Three people went o a hospital after a two-vehicle collision near Stanton Nebraska. 

The crash happened on Highway 24 about five miles west of Stanton Saturday around 4:15 p.m., according to the Stanton County Sheriff’s Office. They said that Juan Ayala-Borboa, 22, of Norfolk, was driving a car west on the highway and Landondon Brand, 25, of Stanton, was driving east when the two collided. 

Brand was taken to Faith Reginal Health Services in Norfolk for possible head injuries. Ayala-Borboa and a female passenger were taken for minor injuries. Seatbelts were in use and airbags deployed. 

The sheriff’s office said that road and weather conditions were poor at the time with white out conditions.
