The rain has moved out of Siouxland, and it looks like it could be a while before we see any again here.
Last night was the third night in a row where we saw heavy downpours with thunderstorms as they moved through. Tonight will be different, clouds are expected to stray away from us tonight. We are expecting mostly clear skies and a low of 62 degrees.
Tomorrow we will warm up about 5 degrees warmer than today with plenty of sunshine overhead.
The sunshine will be here to stay all week, as we have only sunny and mostly sunny skies forecasted for the next seven days.
Temperatures will remain around 87 degrees, give or take a degree or two, for the remainder of the week as well.
We have fallen into a dry pattern, but most of the summer we have seen healthy amounts of rainfall, with minimal dry stretches.
We are not seeing any drought conditions around our area, and we are not expecting to see any at least over the next week because of the amounts of rain we have seen in recent months.
