As one cold front departs to our southeast, another waits in the winds to our northwest. As it moves closer to us Thursday, we’ll be sandwiched between it and the departing front. In other words, don’t forget your umbrella.
Tonight will be cloudy with an isolated shower or storm after midnight. The low will be 49.
Expect periods of showers and thunderstorms tomorrow, some of which could be severe south and east of Sioux City. Winds will be breezy from the northeast. Expect a high of 68.
A period of sunny, dry, warm weather starts Friday and continues through Monday. Highs will be in the 70s during this stretch except for Saturday, when we’ll reach the lower 80s.
Shower chances return to our forecast Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.
