Storm Lake police arrested a student at Storm Lake High School for making terroristic threats to his classmates.
The Storm Lake Police Department say that officers were called to the school around 10:30 Thursday morning about a 15-year-old male student that reportedly threatened other classmates.
When officers arrived, they learned that the student left a threatening note inside the school. They seized the not as evidence and took the student into custody for questioning.
They arrested him around 1:00 p.m. on the charge of Threats of Terrorism, a class D felony.
The student was referred to juvenile court and released to a guardian.
Storm Lake High School administration assisted the Storm Lake Police Department in the incident.
