A man that was charged last week with indecent contact with a 12-year-old now faces new charges.
The Storm Lake Police Department arrested Marlon Gutierrez Meza, 44, of Storm Lake, on August 4 for indecent contact with a child after police took a report that he grabbed a 12-year-old in an inappropriate fashion.
As part of the ongoing investigation, the Storm Lake Police Department said that they gathered more information using forensic interviews.
Gutierrez Meza is also alleged to have tried to lure the 12-year-old girl’s 8-year-old sister into his room on two occasions. They say he did so in order to sexually assault her. In one of the occasions, he is said to have tried to use money to lure the 8-year-old into the room.
Gutierrez Meza has been additionally charged with two counts of enticing a child under 13 years of age, a class C felony, and assault, a simple misdemeanor. He is being held in the Buena Vista County Jail on a $20,300 cash bond.
