Low pressure crossing the Midwest will bring an ongoing chance of showers and thunderstorms to Siouxland Wednesday night and Thursday. Rain totals could be as high as 1-2″ in spots, but most of us will see 0.50″ or less. Severe weather is not expected locally, but there could be some severe storms to the west of Siouxland tonight and to our south tomorrow.
Other than those storm chances, you can expect mostly cloudy skies tonight and a low of 64. Tomorrow will be partly cloudy when at those times when it isn’t raining, with a cooler high of 78.
We’ll rebound to the 80s Friday and Saturday with bright sunshine!
But soak up that warm sun if you like it while you can! Next week looks quite cool for late August, with highs in the 70s Sunday through Wednesday. In addition, another unsettled pattern means showers and storms are likely Sunday and possibly Monday.
