“Stop and Sip” features downtown Sioux City businesses

Local News

Networking and mingling with local downtown business owners is the focus of a new
social activity known as “Stop and Sip”.

Once a month five Sioux City businesses, all within walking distance of each other, open their doors giving folks a chance to learn about the business and what it can offer.  During stops the guests get the chance to sample new wine and beer products.

This month’s introductions includes the Pride Group of Northwest Iowa.

“They just gave me a call and asked if I was willing to do it, explained it all and I said fantastic. So we want to get out in the public, we want people to know what we do here and when people walked by we want them to understand and know that there are members out there,” said Denise Swonger, Day Hab Coordinator at Pride Group.

If you missed this month’s event another Stop and Sip event kicks off on Tuesday, November 20th.  You can learn more about the events by contacting Downtown Partners.
