One person is in jail this morning after a stabbing took place on Ingleside Avenue Tuesday afternoon.

According to court documents, Daniel Gaul, 53, of Sioux City, was called to the victim’s place to dicsuss the repayment of borrowed money Tuesday.

The two became involved in a heated argument around 5:00 p.m., before gaul allegedly assaulted the victim with a knife.

The victim received two non-life threatening stab wounds.

Gual was later arrested and charged with aggravated assault in connection with the stabbing. He is being held in the Woodbury County Jail on a $2,000 bond.
