***WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY 6 AM Thursday to 12 AM Friday***
**Difficult travel for PM commute Thursday**
Don’t put that snow shovel or snowblower away just yet!
Two rounds of snow are certain in the next 7 days, with a third possible.
Scattered light snow showers can be expected during the morning hours Thursday. There will be a few breaks in the snow, too, so don’t expect it to be snowing all the time.
The snow will pick up in the afternoon and evening, with light to occasionally moderate intensity. But since it will be snowing for several hours, expect totals of 2-3″ by the time the snow ends late Thursday evening. Fortunately, the wind won’t be too strong with this system. Look for a high of 29.
The second round of snow arrives Saturday. Totals for this system are still coming into focus, but an additional 4-8″ appear to be possible. The Saturday system will also have more wind, so blowing snow will be a concern.
Finally, we have a third chance of snow next Wednesday. This system is still far off on the horizon, so less is known about it, but we will be tracking it closely.
