***WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for most of Siouxland until Friday morning***
Snow covered roads and low visibility will make for challenging travel Friday morning. Allow extra time to reach your destination.
In addition to the snow that has already fallen, another 1-2″ of accumulation can be expected through Friday morning. The overnight low will be 5, with breezy winds making it feel even cooler.
Scattered light snow showers will linger Friday, especially in the evening south of US Highway 20, where 0.5″ to 1.0″ extra snow may fall. With cloudy skies, we’ll keep the breezy northerly winds. The high will only reach 11.
It’s down to -4 Friday night, then up to 16 Saturday.
Warmer 20s arrive for most of next week, and we’ll even see 30s Wednesday.
