Sioux City woman attacks man with box cutter, police say

A Sioux City woman was arrested for cutting a man late Tuesday night. 

According to court documents, Stacey Carr, 23, of Sioux City, and a man were at the Economy Inn Motel Tuesday night around 11:55. Carr said that they were attempting to have sex when the man starting laughing at Carr. 

Carr became angry and then grabbed a box cutter, trying to hit the man. He had cuts to his lip and upper chest. He also had one of his front teeth knocked out during the incident. She reportedly admitted to the assault in an interview with officers. 

Carr was arrested for Willful Injury-Causing Bodily Harm, a class D felony. She was booked into the Woodbury County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
