SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) – A Sioux City woman was arrested over the weekend after she allegedly threatened to stab her pregnant daughter.

According to court documents, a victim told officers that Sunday around 4:45 p.m., her mother, Cleo McCauley, 54, of Sioux City, tried to stab her in the stomach, saying “I’ll stab you right now and in the stomach.” She then fled. She was reported as being intoxicated. The victim is eight months pregnant, and two live together.

Officers later found the vehicle on the 2200 block of Jackson Street. She reportedly admitted to fleeing in her vehicle. She also said that her husband pulled a knife on her before she then pulled a knife on him. She went on to say that while she was mad at her daughter, she wasn’t going to stab her.

McCauley’s license was previously barred and was revoked.

McCauley was charged aggravated domestic assault, driving while barred and driving with a revoked license. She was booked into the Woodbury County Jail on a bond of $10,000.
