Sioux City Schools celebrate seniors at College and Career Signing Day

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) – This graduation season, students have many options for what to do after high school and the Sioux City School District celebrated all of those future plans with College and Career Signing Day Tuesday.

Many students committed to attending college after graduation. Other students like East High’s John Ronnfeldt signing onto the workforce. He will soon begin an apprenticeship with a Siouxland Heating and Cooling company.

“In four year’s time he should be equipped to be a journeyman,” Mom Cecelia Ronnfeldt said. “ That’s the goal. He’ll come out with a job and a decent income and no college debt.”

Students all over Siouxland making similar decisions about their futures this month. All Seniors at Sioux City Community Schools were celebrated during the College and Career Signing Day event.
