A 36-year-old Sioux City man is facing multiple charges after authorities say he impregnated a 12-year-old girl.

According to court documents, 36-year-old James Hall had sexual contact with the girl in February and March of 2017. The girl gave birth to a son in November and a DNA test determined that Hall was the father.

The sexual abuse was reported after the girl’s 10-year-old brother told their mother that Hall had also sexually abused him

Hall was convicted of 2nd Degree Sexual abuse in connection to his sexual content with the girl’s brother. He is currently serving a 10 year prison sentence in connection to that case.

Hall has additionally been charged with three counts of 3rd Degree Sexual abuse and one count of Neglect of a Dependent person. He’s due to be arraigned on those charges on June 4th.

All four charges are class “C” felonies in the state of Iowa punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
