SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) – The Sioux City Farmers Market is now open for the 2019 season.
It was a chilly start on Wednesday, but the cooler temperatures didn’t keep some excited shoppers away from the beloved summer tradition.
“The first day is kind of the kick off to Spring or to Summer I suppose. It may not feel like it right now, but it’s going to get warmer, we’re going to start expanding, seeing more produce on the tables,” Market Manager Becky Kempers said.
The farmers market is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8:00am to 1:00pm through October.
