UPDATE: A head on collision involving a pair of trucks slowed traffic on a Sioux City highway Monday afternoon.
The crash happened around 2:50 p.m. Monday along Business Highway 75 and Outer Drive in Sioux City
Authorities say two semi trucks crashed head on near that intersection.
Traffic is finally flowing again after crews managed to get the wreckage off to the side of the road.
Ambulances were called to the crash scene, but there’s no immediate word as to whether either driver was hurt.

PREVIOUS: Authorities are asking motorists to avoid the area of Outer Drive and Business Highway 75.
Sioux City police tweeted around 3:15 p.m. that Business 75 North at Outer Drive was closed.

They also ask that people avoid the area.
