ORANGE CITY, Iowa - Northwest Iowa Representative Steve King got a look at some upgrades at a Sioux County business Thursday.
Orange City welcomed the congressman Thursday afternoon for a tour of Diamond Vogel's newly renovated powder coating plant.
Company owners and staff gave King a history lesson about it's world wide business.
King also took the time to voice his support on the newly added citizenship question on the upcoming census, saying this could impact congressional seats in the years to come.
"So, what we have is illegal aliens in America being counted Congress because they're in the census and the American people generally don't realize. This is better. This is an improvement,
but it isn't as far as we need to go. "
Rep. King will also be making an apperance in Sioux Center to meet with the Sioux County Conservatives.
