A wet week ahead in Siouxland!
We are expecting a few dry days here and there, but overall we can expect about 1-3 inches of rain by the time we wrap the week up. The good news is we are expecting around 1-3 inches throughout the week, and not necessarily in one event.
The spread out rain will help decrease the flooding that has been hampering areas in the past few weeks. This unfortunately is not good news for farmers however, as they are looking for as many dry days as they can get in order to harvest their crops.
The rain chances begin on Wednesday afternoon and evening. Most will stay dry, but some areas could see a brief shower or two.
Rain will move back in Thursday afternoon and continue throughout much of the night. This is where we are expecting most of the rain, as about an inch and a half could fall in one night for some.
We look to dry out Friday morning and Saturday, but rain chances return Sunday and again on Monday.
Temperatures will soar on Wednesday all the way up to the mid 80’s even, before cooling back down to the 50’s and 60’s we have been seeing here for a bit.
