SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) – Spring means warmer temperatures, rain showers, and potholes. This winter, the extreme weather resulted in many roads being covered in potholes.
Most of those roads have been repaired, but it’s the businesses that face the burden of fixing their own parking lots. It’s an expense most wouldn’t expect and the cost can quickly add up. Many businesses now are facing that burden. Bomgaar’s said that in the past they have had to a lot but this year they got lucky.
“We did get some damage it wasn’t quite as extensive as some other businesses but we happen to be fortunate enough that we can take care of most of that ourselves,” said Chuck Littsen, the assistant manager at Bomgaars.
It cost between $23 and $130 to fix a single pothole
