SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) – A Siouxland community will receive a big chunk of a federal grant to improve water quality.
The town of Schleswig will receive $100,000 from the wastewater and drinking water financial assistance program.
The funds will go towards a $3.5 million project implementing a biological treatment system and for ammonia removal.
Schleswig is just one of six communities to receive grants out of 27 total applicants.
