SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) – A more than century-old recreation facility is being honored as the South Sioux City Chamber of Commerce business of the year.
The Norm Waitt Sr. YMCA is a non-profit that helps Siouxlanders through a wide variety of programs.
CEO Rhonda Robson says the award won’t change the way the facility does business.
“I just want us to be the best that we can be and to continue to impact the lives of the community so right now we’re working on different ways to do that,” said Robson.
Registration for YMCA summer programs is open and available for kids from Pre-K to 5th grade.
