A new exhibit at the Sioux City Public Museum is showcasing the power of children making a difference.
The exhibit tells stories of ordinary children who faced extraordinary circumstances in hopes to inspire children today to fight discrimination and intolerance.
Panelist Carter Smith says it’s imperative that we invest in our youth.
“Children are the future and we need to make sure children are involved in our day to day lives and processes and take the time to answer their questions and listen to what they have to say because often time we have the ability to learn from them and how they view the world,” Smith said.
The exhibit allows visitors to explore the famous lives of Anne Frank, Ruby Bridges, and Ryan White
The exhibit will be on display through January 6, 2019.
