Morning Forecast – Iowa: Aug 20, 2018

Local News

Showers will be at their widest extent this morning. It’ll take until late in the afternoon for the rain to wind down over western Iowa. We anticipate cloudy, cool, and breezy weather with high temperatures in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Wind gusts will peak around 30 to 35 MPH from the north keeping a cap on our temperatures.

Tonight we’ll have a mostly cloudy sky as lows dip into the middle/upper 50s. It should feel comfortable!

Tomorrow will be a beautiful day with a taste of autumn. The high will be in the middle 70s under a mostly cloudy sky.

Wednesday and Thursday look for seasonal warmth as highs hover around 80 degrees with a nice amount of sunshine. Our next disturbance holds off until Friday morning when thunderstorms will push in with a warm front.

Look for a hot weekend! Highs will hang around 90 degrees for both Saturday and Sunday – probably one of our last bursts of summertime heat.

Have a nice start to your work week!
