Towards the end of the press conference, David Bernstein spoke about the importance of safety and allowing attendees to enjoy their time at the event. He said it’s possible free tickets might be required to attend the event to limit capacity, but they haven’t made a decision yet. Updates on the free ticket decision can be found on this website.
“We are very in tune with the current environment, nationally and locally, and clearly focused on making the festival as enjoyable for everyone as possible, so we just ask for people’s patience,” said David Bernstein.
Bernstein also explained they need volunteers to help put on the two-day event. Those interested in volunteering can visit this website.
The press conference was at Marty’s Tap, and it can be watched in the player at the top of the story.
KCAU 9 is the media sponsor for Saturday in the Park.
