More earthquakes have hit in central Nebraska
The U.S. Geological Survey say that an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.1 hit around 4:48 p.m. Monday. The epicenter of the earthquake was about 6 miles south-southeast of Arnold, Nebraska, or about 22 miles east-southeast of Stapleton.
Another earthquake had hit only a couple miles north of Monday’s the day before. It was 2.6 magnitude that occurred around 6:39 p.m. Sunday night.
With this most recent earthquake, there have now been a total of six earthquakes that hit that area in the last couple weeks.
