SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) – The MercyOne Siouxland Skilled Care Center received a five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid.
The five-star rating reflects high performance in five different categories including care quality and staffing.
“Of course its always a goal because we base our day to day operations just to give the patients the best care, prevent readmissions and even in our unit, we’ve had to readmit to the acute side and we try not to. It just fell that way,” MercyOne Director of Nursing Chris Severson said.
The MercyOne Network is Iowa’s largest Hospital System.
