A man is in jail after reportedly inappropriately touching a 12-year-old girl.
Court documents say that Cody Chilson, 26, was at a friend’s house in Woodbury County on the night of January 23, 2018.
While there, he allegedly went to the room of the friend’s 12-year-old sister around 1:00 a.m. on January 24, and got into her bed and began touching her.
When the victim screamed, her father entered the room and saw Chilson in the bed and told him to get out.
Chilson was 25 at the time of the incident. He was charged with indecent contact with a child, an aggravated misdemeanor. He is being held in the Woodbury County Jail on a $2,000 bond.
