Today, educators rely on all kinds of crazy ways to keep kids motivated. Pies in the face and being duck taped to the wall are just two of the unusual ways students have been rewarded. But now one local teacher is taking it a step further, putting herself in the firing line.
On Monday, students at Clark Early Childhood Center got the chance to throw snowballs at their principal as a reward for positive behavior. “They came up with the idea then we said yeah, ok we want you to do well and if you have that good behavior sure I’ll let you throw snowballs at me. I’ll do anything for them to have good behavior,” said Principal Amy Denney.
The class picked which students got to throw the snowballs. It probably made the first day back at school a lot more fun for the kids.
