Local letter carriers help Stamp-Out-Hunger

Local News

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) – Mail wasn’t the only thing postal workers carried Saturday.

They also collected food for the 27th annual Letter Carriers ‘Stamp Out Hunger’ Food Drive.

Hundreds of pounds of non-perishable food was collected and delivered to the Food Bank of Siouxland to be given families in need.

Area residents were welcomed to leave boxed or canned goods by their mailboxes, and letter carriers were able to grab the food as they delivered Saturday’s mail.
