Police are looking for a suspect who was involved in a police chase in a stolen car.
The Le Mars Police Department said they tried to stop a stolen vehicle in the Le Mars Walmart parking lot Sunday morning at 6:30 a.m.
The stolen vehicle, a maroon Dodge Charger, rammed the police car before leading police on a short pursuit.
Police found the stolen vehicle at the 100 block of 5th Street NW.
The suspect was later seen at 10:15 a.m. at the Subway on Business Highway 75, according to the police. He was said to have been picked up there in a maroon Saturn SUV.
Anyone with information regarding the case is asked to call the Le Mars police at 712-546-4113. A reward from Crime Stoppers is available for the suspect’s capture and conviction.
